After you download and install RecMaster, open the screen recorder and you will see seven different recording modes on the main interface: Full-screen mode, Custom-area mode, Game mode, Program-window mode, Follow-cursor mode, Webcam mode, and Audio-only mode. Before you record, set the video quality and output resolution. Click the Menu>> Settings, A new window will appear.
If your display resolution is 4K, and you want to record a very clear video, please select the original resolution, the recorded video file is large. If you don’t want the recorded video to take up a lot of your computer’s memory, you can choose the HD mode we recommend. And set the output resolution to be the same as the computer screen.
If you have no special requirements, other video settings can be kept in the initial state.
You can choose whether to turn on the system sound and microphone sound as you like. When you are ready to start recording your screen in 4K, click the big red button. Notice that after the three-second countdown, the recording toolbar will be minimized to the tray so that it would not affect your screen recording area.
During the recording, you can hit the Pause icon (or press the Alt key + 1) to pause. When you think everything is ok, you can click the Stop icon (or press the Alt key + 2) to end the 4K recording. The recorded 4K video will be saved in the recording list automatically.

Note: When the aspect ratio of the output video is different from the aspect ratio of your computer screen, changing the resolution may cause the video to be stretched.
It’s time to hit the REC button to start capturing. You can also use the hotkey (press the Alt key + 1) to start screen recording.
You can click the corresponding button to pause or stop recording. After you finish the recording, you don’t need to click any other button, the video will be saved automatically. You can easily find the recorded 4K video in the recording list.
In the recording list, you can play, edit, rename or delete the recorded 4K videos. Then, you can click the Upload icon to share it to YouTube or Google Drive.
Tip: If you want to check whether the recorded video is 4K resolution, you can see the frame width and height in the details of the video. (Show in folder>> Choose the video>> Click the right button of the mouse>> Properties>> Details)
