Step 1: Set RecMaster to record automatically upon launch

1. Download and install RecMaster

2. Go to Menu>> Auto Recording>> Auto-record

3. Tick “Auto-record in full screen upon RecMaster launch” and set other options according to your own needs.

Start recording in the background. Press “Alt+d” to show up: With this option ticked, RecMaster will run in the background and record without being notified on the computer desktop. And to show the interface of RecMaster, you can use the hotkey of “Alt+d”.

Effective only once / Always in effect: By choosing between these options, you can set RecMaster to auto-record once or always.

End recording automatically: With the help of this section, you can easily set the end time by duration or file size.

After recording: You can set RecMaster to do nothing or turn off the computer after the auto recording.

Note: You can’t use Schedule and Auto-record at the same time, or they will conflict.

Step 2: Set RecMaster to start at boot automatically

Step 1 lets you easily set RecMaster to start recording upon the software launch. If you hope RecMaster to start recording as soon as the computer starts,  please keep on setting the following Step 2.

1. Go to Menu>> Settings>> General

2. Tick “Automatically start the software at boot

If you are using a desktop computer, you can restart your computer now to check whether RecMaster records in full screen automatically after the computer is launched.

However, if you are using a laptop, please go to Step 4 to set RecMaster to be able to run on battery. And if you hope to set RecMaster to start a few minutes after the computer launch, you can find the details in Step 3.

Step 3: Set RecMaster to start a few minutes after the boot (Delay the task)

Every time you launch RecMaster, you need to connect to the internet to keep RecMaster registered. If RecMaster is launched before your computer connects to the internet, you may get registration errors. To avoid it, you can follow the steps below to delay the start of RecMaster automatically.

1. Search “Task Scheduler” and run as administrator.

2. Go to “Task Scheduler Library” and find RecMaster on the list. Right-click on RecMaster and choose Properties.

3. Go to “Trigger”, select the trigger and click “Edit”.

4. Tick “Delay task for”, set the time you hope to delay and click OK to confirm.

5. Next, you will go back to the Triggers tab where you can click OK to confirm the settings. Then, you can restart your computer to check whether your settings work.

If you are using a laptop, you can keep reading to set the task to run without AC power.

Step 4: AC power settings for laptops

For laptop users, your default setting may not allow RecMaster to start at boot if your laptop is not on the AC power. Please follow the steps below to make RecMaster run even if it’s on the battery.

1. Search “Task Scheduler” and run as administrator.

2. Go to “Task Scheduler Library” and find RecMaster on the list. Right-click on RecMaster and choose Properties.

3. Go to Conditions, uncheck “Start the task only if the computer is on AC power”, and press “OK” to confirm.
