Click on Menu and Settings to launch the Settings window. In the File tab, You can select the output audio format. The default is mp3. You can change it to wav format if you need it.

And besides, if you don’t hope to record the cursor click sound during the recording, you can disable the Show cursor option.

Step 3: Select Recording Mode

Now you can choose the recording mode in RecMaster. There are seven options: Full Screen, Custom Area, Webcam, Game mode, Program mode, Follow Cursor, Webcam, and Audio Only. Since you only want to save the audio from a YouTube video, please select the Audio Only mode. This will activate the audio recording function and disable the screen recording function.

You can turn off the Microphone to avoid the environmental noises around you. And by clicking the triangle button beside System Sound or Microphone, you can choose Advanced to launch the Sound Settings. On that window, you can choose the right audio devices and test them.
